NFC Playoff Picture: Eagles on the path for the No. 1 seed
The Philadelphia Eagles are 8-1 after beating the Denver Broncos to a pulp on Sunday. Now that the 2017 NFL season is more than halfway over, here’s an updated look at the NFL playoff picture in the NFC. As you can see, the Eagles are on top of the conference. If they keep this pace, they’ll be able to lock up home field advantage in the playoffs. Here’s a look at Philly’s remaining scheduleWeek 10 - BYEWeek 11 - at Dallas Cowboys Week 12 - Chicago Bears Week 13 - at Seattle Seahawks Week 14 - at Los Angeles Rams Week 15 - at New York Giants Week 16 - Oakland Raiders Week 17 - Dallas Cowboys There are some tough games coming up. Playing the Cowboys, Seahawks, and Rams on the road won’t be easy. Then again, there’s no reason think the Eagles can’t win based on how they’re playing right now https://www.eaglesteamfanstore.com/Eagles_Nigel_Bradham_Jersey-70.Getting a win over Dallas in Week 11 is especially critical. The Eagles can put an end to the Cowboys’ resurgence and virtually lock up the NFC East, if you don’t consider the race to be over already. The Eagles obviously don’t need help from other teams to get to the No. 1 seed. If the Birds take care of business, they’ll get there. Still, it doesn’t hurt to root against teams like the Saints, Vikings, Rams, Panthers, Cowboys, and Seahawks. Losses from those teams will give Philly more room for error. It was good for the Eagles that the Redskins beat Seattle on Sunday. The Seahawks are still one of the more threatening teams in the conference. The fact that they lost to Washington hurts their chances of getting home field over the Eagles. With eight weeks left in the season, there’s still a lot that change. For now, the Eagles are playing great football. The path to the No. 1 seed is there for them https://www.eaglesteamfanstore.com/Eagles_Derrick_Lott_Jersey-34. Getting a first round bye and home field advantage in the playoffs will only help them on their Super Bowl quest.
